• Manage the full operational lifecycle of events: venue sourcing, catering, vendors, AV, run-of-show, merch, and day-of readiness
• Act as the point person on-site, resolving issues quickly and keeping everything running smoothly
• Ensure every event feels premium, thoughtful, and true to Alma's brand
• Create and refine repeatable operational playbooks, checklists, and timelines for different event formats
• Standardize workflows and documentation so events run consistently, whether it's a 20-person dinner or a 200-person conference
• Track budgets, staffing needs, and vendor relationships tied to our events calendar
• Partner with the Events & Partnerships Lead to translate strategy into an operational plan

• Keep timelines, action items, and follow-ups visible and on track across multiple events running in parallel
• Deliver clear, regular updates on event readiness, risks, and support needed
• Monitor what worked operationally at each event — what caused friction, what saved time — and feed it back into future planning
• Track expenses against budget for each event, flag overages early, and propose budgets for upcoming events based on past spend and scope
• Continuously improve processes as Alma's event cadence grows

Product Designer

Event Operations Specialist

Machine Learning Engineer

• Own ML models across their full lifecycle - from data pipelines and feature engineering to training, evaluation, deployment and monitoring; choosing the right metrics and guarding against leakage, overfitting and drift.
• Run and improve our ML platform - own the team's GitOps CI/CD and release process, monitor serving endpoints, latency and load in Datadog, and define the SLOs and alerting that keep models reliable in production.
• Turn ML into business value across the org - collaborate with risk, operational and product teams to spot and ship ML opportunities, from credit scoring to AI for operational intelligence, sharing your expertise through code reviews and tech watch.

ML Engineer

Attorney

• You'll be the primary legal partner to our sales and client-facing teams: assessing eligibility, advising on strategy in real time, deciding which cases we should take, and progressively productizing that expertise so the standard work scales and you can focus on the hard cases.
• Review daily visa assessments and deliver clear, criterion-by-criterion verdicts (viable / viable with disclaimers / not viable) with clear risks
• Think in pathways, not single visas — compare and sequence options across O-1A/B, EB-1A/B, EB-2 NIW, H-1B (including founder/beneficiary-owner H-1Bs), L-1, E-2, TN, and consular processing to find the best path for our clients
• Act as the team's real-time legal help desk: unblock AEs on live deals, answer eligibility questions quickly, and take prospect consultations (including paid second opinions) when needed
• Make go/no-go calls on case intake: spot red flags (status gaps, prior denials, undisclosed facts, employer or litigation issues) and use your judgement to make decisions
• Apply current law to live situations — track fast-moving USCIS trends and policy changes (e.g., recent founder-H-1B guidance, evolving RFE patterns) and translate them into actionable advice
• Partner with product, GTM and operations to standardize and "productize" the assessment process
• Mine assessment data for patterns — recurring weak criteria, intake gaps, requested-vs-recommended pathway mismatches — and turn them into guides, FAQs, lead magnets, decision tools, and thought-leadership
• Write and edit immigration guides, website copy, internal explainers, templates, and workflows that make complex topics intuitive and human; keep our existing knowledge base (evidence lists, sample docs, articles) accurate and current
• Publish rapid, lawyer-backed "news breakdowns" on regulatory changes, and review legal accuracy and tone on our blog
• Support the legal team on active casework and RFE responses at a reduced capacity, reporting to our Head of Legal
• Attend and present at in-person events — for immigrant founders, researchers, and mobility leaders

Immigration Attorney – Assessments, Marketing

Marketing

• Own the strategic roadmap, data architecture, and analytical execution for the Marketing domain.
• Take full ownership of the Marketing data reporting layer, mapping out and executing a multi-quarter technical roadmap that aligns cleanly with Alma's growth OKRs.
• Design and optimize core Marketing data models within dbt, moving the organization toward an integrated, full-funnel 'source of truth'.
• Empower Marketing stakeholders with automated, high-fidelity pacing models and diagnostic tools that reduce manual workflows and accelerate media-spend optimization.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between Growth Marketing and Data Engineering, defining the requirements for downstream identity resolution and MarTech API integrations.
• Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade data models in dbt and interactive dashboards in BI tools (Lightdash).
• Act as a technical mentor to peer analysts across the data organization.
• Drive complex, deep-dive analyses on multi-touch attribution (MTA), marketing mix modeling (MMM), client lifetime value (LTV), and incrementality testing.
