About the role

  • As the sole recruiter at AllTrails, you will be the face of the company for every candidate and a strategic partner to every hiring manager.
  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process for roles across all functions including Engineering, Product, Marketing, Design, Finance and more!
  • Partner with hiring managers to define roles, consult on market trends, and set realistic expectations for the talent landscape.
  • We do not have a Recruiting Coordinator by design. One of your first major projects will be to audit our current workflows and implement AI tooling to automate scheduling, candidate communications, and administrative tasks.
  • Execute and iterate on recruiting workflows. You will identify bottlenecks and implement changes to ensure our process is efficient, equitable, and scalable.
  • Deliver a high touch experience for everyone in the funnel. You will ensure every candidate leaves with a positive impression of AllTrails regardless of the outcome.
  • Use recruiting metrics to track pipeline health and provide visibility into hiring progress to the broader People team and leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a fast paced startup or high growth tech environment.
  • You are comfortable pivoting from a Senior Engineer search to a Creative Director or Data Analytics search and take the time to understand the nuances of a role if it is new to you.
  • Early adopter of AI tools and have a proven track record of using them to increase your own productivity. You should be comfortable identifying and implementing new AI solutions for the TA function.
  • Excel at building trust with hiring managers and can diplomatically provide guidance to keep the process on track.
  • You do not just follow a process, you look for ways to make it better and are comfortable navigating and optimizing ATS tools.
  • Strong storyteller who can articulate the AllTrails mission and the technical depth of our trail data in a way that excites top talent.
  • Skilled at presenting complex offers and closing top tier talent. You have a deep understanding of total rewards, including the ability to clearly explain equity structures, vesting schedules, and the long term value of ownership.
