Manage litigation files from inception through resolution, including trial preparation.
Draft and file pleadings, respond to discovery, and support motion practice.
Order and track medical records; coordinate expert review and disclosures.
Prepare arbitration and trial materials, including jury instructions when applicable.
Handle e-filing in Texas.
Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely service and compliance.
Collaborate with attorneys and other paralegals to maintain organized, high-quality case files.
Take ownership of the litigation life cycle — from answering complaints and managing discovery, to preparing for arbitration and trial.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree AND at least 1 year of paralegal experience, OR Paralegal certificate (ABA-approved preferred) AND at least 2 years of paralegal experience.
Must meet all applicable paralegal certification, registration, or licensure requirements as defined by the state.
5+ years experience as a Paralegal with a focus on insurance defense or civil litigation preferred.
Experience managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced legal environment preferred.
Familiarity with legal procedures, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and court filings.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
Familiarity with e-filing systems and court procedures.
