Manage litigation files from inception through resolution, including trial preparation
Draft and file pleadings, respond to discovery, and support motion practice
Order and track medical records; coordinate expert review and disclosures
Prepare arbitration and trial materials, including jury instructions when applicable
Handle e-filing in Northern California counties and other California courts
Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely service and compliance
Collaborate with attorneys and other paralegals to maintain organized, high-quality case files
Requirements
Experience as a Paralegal with a focus on insurance defense or civil litigation preferred.
Experience managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced legal environment preferred.
Familiarity with legal procedures, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and court filings.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
4-year Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred. In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered such as a 2- year paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program.
