About the role
- Day-to-day care and support of mission-critical SAP financial & Insurance applications
- Act as technical specialist and partner with other SAP teams
- Perform bug/fix analysis and recommend solutions for finance & insurance related processes
- Support business implementations by sharing best-practice development skills
- Set and execute team strategy, including objectives, plans and policies
- Communicate strategy to the team and collaborate with decision makers in other departments
- Identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions
- Make decisions impacting quality or effectiveness beyond the immediate team
- Initiate and implement continuous improvements and preventive measures
- Analyze long-term impact of new or anticipated strategies and contribute to business and functional strategy
- Collaborate across locations and work directly with business users
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience
- Functional knowledge & exposure to SAP modules: FICO, FSCD, Treasury Cash Management
- Minimum 5 years of ABAP development experience in HANA
- Experience with HANA Studio, CDS, RAP, RFCs, TRFCs, HANA Clean core concepts, BTP CPI
- Knowledge of OOPS Concepts and design patterns
- Experience working with APIs, DDIC, BAdi’s, Enhancements Framework, Interfaces, BDC, BAPI
- Debugging and performance tuning of reports, interactive reporting, module pool
- Experience with SAP Scripts, Smart forms, User Exits
- Experience in Workflow, ALE, Idocs, OOPS ABAP
- Experience with Fiori and BRF+ is advantage
- Very good analytical and communication skills
- Ability to learn new modules and start working on them
- Should be able to work independently and directly with business users
- Should be a team player and work with teams/members spread across locations
