Develop and refine clear user maps and user flows in collaboration with key stakeholders while advocating for user needs.
Design and iterate on user interfaces using our existing design system and Figma.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and low- to high-fidelity designs that clearly communicate user flows and interaction requirements/specifications.
Conduct or assist with user research activities such as usability testing and feedback sessions to inform design decisions.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to deliver consistent, accessible, and responsive digital experiences.
Apply user-centered design principles and accessibility (WCAG AA) standards to your work.
Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas to improve design quality and team processes.
Balance multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Facilitate cross-functional workshops/conversations/discussions to understand and align on clear user maps & flows, experience strategy, and product outcomes.
Requirements
2-4 years of experience as a UX Designer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing your design process and deliverables.
Proficiency in Figma or ability to quickly adapt from similar design and prototyping tools to Figma
Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
Basic understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG AA).
Some experience or willingness to learn user research methods and incorporate findings into design.
Strong visual design skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams to align efforts and deliver effective design solutions.
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, based in Denver metro area, with 1-2 days per week onsite in Boulder or Golden, CO.
Self-motivated, eager to learn, and capable of giving and receiving clear, actionable feedback to improve design outcomes.
Experience designing and contributing to teams that release consumer-facing native mobile applications.
