About the role

  • Lead the design of intuitive, impactful experiences that solve complex customer problems in the insurance compliance space
  • Drive design projects from discovery through delivery with minimal guidance, working effectively in ambiguous and evolving problem spaces
  • Apply a systems-thinking mindset to create scalable solutions across interconnected product areas
  • Design within the Salesforce Lightning Design System, extending and adapting it where needed to meet user and business needs
  • Partner closely with product managers and engineers to influence product strategy and define requirements through the lens of user experience
  • Conduct advanced user research and testing to deeply understand user needs and validate design decisions
  • Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders and leadership, influencing direction through strong storytelling and user advocacy
  • Ensure a high level of quality and polish in the final implementation of your designs
  • Interface directly with customers to assess usability and engage in user testing
  • Build and iterate on a consistent design system

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex design projects
  • Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous problem spaces, independently shaping clarity and direction
  • Expertise designing within complex systems (e.g., multi-step workflows, role-based user experiences, or B2B enterprise tools)
  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce Lightning Design System (or similar component-driven design frameworks)
  • Mastery of design tools such as Figma
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, systems thinking, and usability best practices
  • Strong communicator who can influence cross-functional teams and align stakeholders around design solutions
  • High-growth startup or enterprise SaaS experience is a plus
