About the role

  • Configure and optimize enterprise applications to ensure alignment with business goals, scalability, and performance.
  • Play a key role in developing and deploying new features, functionalities, or customizations to support high-priority projects and business objectives.
  • Perform thorough testing and quality assurance efforts for developed features or enhancements to guarantee functionality, reliability, and user-friendliness.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancement, automation, or optimization within enterprise applications to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for new requests, translating them into technical specifications.
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of new solutions or enhancements within enterprise applications based on gathered requirements, ensuring alignment of technical solutions with business needs and objectives.
  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex issues faced by end-users, offering in-depth guidance and solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and escalation point for intricate technical problems and user inquiries.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to disseminate best practices and promote user proficiency.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, solutions, and support procedures, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.
  • Help define and enforce governance policies and procedures related to application configurations, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and user access.
  • Help evaluate emerging technologies and their potential application within the enterprise environment.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or 3 years and an advanced degree
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, physics, math, or another related field or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in managing and configuring enterprise-level applications, such as ERP systems, CRM platforms, HRIS applications, etc.
  • Expertise in configuring and customizing application settings, including user roles, permissions, workflows, security settings, fields, page layouts, and automation tools.
  • Capability to identify opportunities for automation, optimization, efficiency gains, and user experience improvements within enterprise applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex business challenges and identify innovative solutions within applications.
  • Ability to align technical decisions with broader business strategies and long-term objectives.
  • Project planning, task prioritization, and time management skills to successfully contribute to projects, ensure deadlines are met, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to create comprehensive training materials, user guides, and documentation to support end-users and internal teams.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement within the application ecosystem.
