About the role
- Develop comprehensive project plans with timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Supervise project workflow using Jira and provide updates on progress and issues
- Meet with stakeholders to ensure resources are managed wisely
- Conduct risk assessments and communicate mitigation strategies to stakeholders and executives
- Optimize project processes and resource allocation for continuous improvement
- Build and maintain relationships with senior executives and stakeholders
- Ensure regular communication between team members, stakeholders, and leadership
- Manage stakeholder expectations and escalate issues and conflicts
- Review company-wide workloads and adjust as necessary
- Implement change management processes for scope changes
- Ensure projects comply with relevant regulations and industry standards when applicable
- Work with external contractors, participate in contract negotiations, and manage vendor relationships
- Create Gantt charts to manage project schedules
- Contribute to AlgaeCal’s mission to end the fear of bone loss by supporting marketing and product initiatives
Requirements
- 0–1 years of project management experience (entry-level to 1 year)
- Ability to drive agile projects and manage a Jira board
- Experience overseeing projects from idea to launch and keeping projects on time and budget
- Stakeholder management and executive communication
- Risk assessment and mitigation skills
- Resource allocation and optimization across multiple projects
- Change management and issue escalation
- Experience with Gantt charts and project scheduling
- Preferably some online digital marketing and e-commerce experience
