About the role
- Meet with project leads to develop comprehensive project plans including timelines, milestones, budget and resource allocation
- Supervise project workflow with Jira and provide updates on progress and potential issues
- Meet with key stakeholders to ensure resources are being wisely managed
- Conduct risk assessments and communicate mitigation strategies to stakeholders and executives
- Optimize project processes and life cycles for continuous improvement
- Optimize resource allocation across multiple projects to maximize efficiency
- Build and maintain relationships with senior executives and other stakeholders
- Ensure regular communication between project team members, stakeholders, and leadership
- Effectively manage stakeholder expectations and implement change management processes
- Escalate issues and conflicts within and outside the project team
- Evaluate projects for compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards when applicable
- Work with external contractors, participate in contract negotiations, and manage vendor relationships
- Create Gantt charts to manage project schedules
- Support AlgaeCal’s mission: provide clinically-backed natural solutions to help people beat bone loss and fractures
Requirements
- 1-2 years of project management experience (minimum 1 year)
- Experience driving agile projects
- Ability to manage a Jira board and provide project updates
- Experience overseeing marketing projects from idea to launch
- Project planning: timelines, milestones, budget and resource allocation
- Ability to create and manage Gantt charts
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Stakeholder management and communication with senior executives/C-suite
- Optimize project processes, life cycles and resource allocation
- Implement change management processes and manage scope changes
- Escalate and resolve issues and conflicts
- Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards when applicable
- Experience working with external contractors, vendor management, and contract negotiations
