About the role
- Lead and scale lead generation efforts with a strong focus on the corporate events program
- Plan, organize, and run in-person and virtual events including trade shows, webinars, seminars, workshops, customer training, partner events, user groups, customer summits and employee events
- Responsible for end-to-end event program planning, project management, and logistics from initial planning to post-event follow up, including vendor and budget management
- Design, plan, manage and optimize multi-touch campaigns across digital and offline channels to generate pipeline and engage leads
- Execute campaigns and manage inbound lead flow process, including lead capture, landing page creation, and CRM integration
- Support sales team on personalized sales/marketing campaigns to accelerate leads through the pipeline
- Manage consultant/vendor relationships to scale website, SEO/SEM and paid advertising strategies
- Identify contacts and ensure consistent follow up for campaigns in partnership with Sales teams
- Set event objectives and communicate expectations and responsibilities to stakeholders, vendors, and attendees
- Lead development of strategic event plans and external communications to support audience acquisition
- Track metrics critical to events including promotions, leads, opportunities, and ROI analysis and deliver reports to stakeholders
- Travel to events to assist with onsite logistics and execution
- Manage marketing automation (Pardot) and ABM-related processes, workflows, tools and technology
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Event/Hospitality or related field
- 4-6 years of experience in content marketing in a B2B environment with a focus on demand generation and event marketing
- People management experience leading several direct reports in various marketing roles
- Working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Marketing Automation software; Pardot and Salesforce preferred
- Experience with digital marketing (display, CPC, social, online directories, etc.)
- Strong analytical and campaign reporting skills
- Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and able to juggle multiple priorities at once
- Highly driven self-starter that thrives in a dynamic, start-up environment
- Time management and collaboration skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel 30%+ depending on event season fluctuations
- Ability to lift 30lbs
