About the role
- Acts as the business lead and link between the field and Aledade Centralized support teams for ACO-specific business operations
- Partners with Regional and Senior Medical Directors to align clinical initiatives with savings goals and provide the business case and direction for field team practice interactions
- Manages at least one market constituting a large enterprise, state or group of states aligned with Aledade Lives Under Management
- Works with Senior Leadership to set the strategic direction for their market(s)
- Responsible for business development and relationship management at the market level
- Provides support and direction to Market Manager(s), Practice Transformation Specialist(s), and Director(s) in their market(s)
- Assumes Financial Accountability for their market(s) with a focus on operational excellence; manages ACO Profit & Loss
- Sets and achieves annual savings and quality targets for contracts and practices in coordination with Provider Networks leadership
- Collaborates with Central Growth and local field team to identify and establish partnerships with new physician practices and regional partners
- Leads local and/or multi-state ACO Boards and serves as liaison between ACO Board and Aledade Centralized Support teams
- Supports professional development and succession planning for direct reports
Requirements
- 10+ years of related experience working as a client-facing project lead in the healthcare industry (i.e., health plan, hospital, pharmaceutical manufacturer, government, pharmacy chain, management consulting) with a proven track record of creating, maintaining, and enhancing customer relationships and communicating effectively with senior management
- 7+ years of management experience
- 3+ years of Value Based Care experience
- Master’s degree or other advanced degrees in health services research, health policy, healthcare administration, mathematics/statistics, information technology, or other relevant fields (preferred)
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time and extensive use of computers and keyboard
- Occasional walking and lifting may be required
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, as needed
