About the role
- Serve as the entrepreneurial leader of the market, shaping business strategy to improve patient outcomes and healthcare affordability
- Act as the bridge between field operations and central support teams to ensure initiatives translate into real-world impact
- Collaborate closely with Regional and Senior Medical Directors to turn clinical excellence into sustainable savings
- Build, guide and provide direction to field teams and Practice Transformation Specialists in the market
- Responsible for business development and relationship management at the market level, establishing partnerships with physician practices and regional partners
- Set and achieve annual savings and quality targets for contracts and practices as part of ACO strategy
- Manage ACO Profit & Loss and interface between ACO operations teams and Aledade Centralized Support teams to maximize financial returns
- Lead local and/or multi-state ACO Boards and serve as liaison between ACO Board and Aledade Centralized Support teams
- Support professional development and succession planning for direct reports
Requirements
- 10+ years of related experience working as a client-facing project lead in the healthcare industry (e.g., health plan, hospital, pharmaceutical manufacturer, government, pharmacy chain, management consulting) with a proven track record of creating, maintaining, and enhancing customer relationships and communicating effectively with senior management
- 7+ years of management experience
- 3+ years of Value Based Care experience
- Preferred: Master’s degree or other advanced degrees in health services research, health policy, healthcare administration, mathematics/statistics, information technology, or other relevant fields
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time in the market, as needed
- Physical requirements: Sitting for prolonged periods of time; extensive use of computers and keyboard; occasional walking and lifting may be required
- Candidates must be located on Long Island or in the surrounding Tri State area to be considered for this position
