About the role
- Collect, extract, and transform operational data from internal systems to produce accurate and timely reports in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Use your expertise in data querying, analytics, and visualization to support the development and enhancement of data pipelines, dashboards, and analytical models.
- Support the maintenance, enhancement, and documentation of existing reporting processes and structures.
- Participate in corporate projects, departmental initiatives, and cross functional working groups.
- Contribute to team data initiatives, including automation, workflow improvements, and operational efficiencies.
- Adhere to standards of quality, privacy, branding, tooling, methodology, pricing, invoicing, and turnaround times.
- Collaborate with Enterprise IT and analytics teams to build, enhance, and maintain data pipelines and reporting assets.
- Analyze and interpret data trends, clearly communicating findings, insights, and variances to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- A post-secondary degree, diploma or prior experience would be an asset.
- Expertise with SQL, including complex query design and performance tuning is required.
- Familiarity with Oracle SQL Developer is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in RStudio or Python for data analysis and automation is required.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization/dashboarding tools is an asset.
- Experience in analytics or reporting focused role is an asset.
- Previous concrete experience with understanding and troubleshooting end-to-end dataflows in an enterprise organization is a strongly preferred asset.
- Strong foundation in statistics, analytics, data management, and reporting methodologies.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver timely results.
- Commitment to a collaborative team environment, including knowledge sharing and cross‑training.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
