General

• Control invasive plants using manual control techniques and/or herbicides
• Monitor current and future restoration projects
• Maintain care of restoration plantings, which may include watering

Natural Resource Worker – Temporary

• Performs general duty police work in the protection of life and property through the enforcement of laws and ordinances
• Patrols the County to preserve law and order, to identify and solve problems, to prevent and discover the commission of crimes, to serve the public and to direct traffic and enforce motor vehicle laws
• Answers calls and complaints involving fire, automobile accidents, neighborhood disturbances and other misdemeanor and felony crimes occurring in the County
• Secures crime scenes, administers first aid, conducts preliminary investigations, gathers evidence, obtains witnesses and makes arrests
• Testifies in court in connection with arrests and citations
• Conducts criminal investigations and sensitive internal investigations

Police Officer

• Responds to incidents requiring firefighting, emergency medical care, specialized rescue, and hazardous material emergencies

• Maintains and performs custodial duties at the assigned station

Fire Fighter/EMT Recruit

• Interviews applicants/recipients, adapting techniques to meet the needs/abilities of the client
• Determines eligibility for assistance and benefit levels using automated systems and manual methods
• Processes applications for benefit programs such as, but not limited to SNAP, Medicaid, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), Energy, General Relief, Auxiliary Grants, Refugee Cash and/or Medical Assistance
• Compiles and analyzes information and policy to determine and redetermine ongoing eligibility for financial, medical and or other governmental programs
• Computes income and resource eligibility timely, accurately and completely based on complex state and federal guidelines
• Ensures clients receive maximum eligible benefits
• Explains available benefit programs, rights and responsibilities, other agency services and community resources
• Identifies social problems and makes referrals to social workers as needed
• Researches, interprets, and applies mandated programmatic policy and procedures based on state and federal guidelines in the administration of a benefits caseload which may be generic or specialized

Group Exercise Instructor

• Officials shall master both the rules of the game and the mechanics necessary to enforce the rules.
• Officials shall work with each other and their state associates in a constructive and cooperative manner.
• Officials shall uphold the honor and dignity of the profession in all interaction with student-athletes, coaches, athletic directors, school administrators, colleagues, and the public.
• Officials shall prepare themselves both physically and mentally, shall dress neatly and appropriately, and shall comport themselves in a manner consistent with the high standards of the profession.

• Officials shall remain mindful that their conduct influences the respect that student-athletes, coaches and the public hold for the profession.

• Where appropriate, they shall inform event management of conditions or situations that appear unreasonably hazardous.
• Officials shall take reasonable steps to educate themselves in the recognition of emergency conditions that might arise during the course of competition.
