Generate leads, and establish and nurture client relationships.
Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and extends the company's global reach.
Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
Overseeing local and regional sales, promotions and campaigns.
Preparing sales budgets and projections and approving expenditures.
Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships that address their needs.
Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments.
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
Ensure that company quotas are met by holding daily check-ins with sales team to set objectives and monitor progress.
Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
Requirements
Five or more years of experience in managing sales.
Sales In Power Generation, heavy machinery a plus+
Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Superb leadership ability
Ability to travel at least 20% of the time and territories are ND, SD, NE, KS, MN, IA, MO, WI, IL, MI, IN, OH and KY and you must reside in one of those states in order to be considered.
