About the role

  • Design and deploy server clusters.
  • Remotely diagnose hardware problems and facilitate server repairs.
  • Manage Akamai's hardware assets.
  • Manage a team of field technicians.
  • Work closely with external partners.
  • Ensure exceptional service delivery with internal cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Have a bachelor's degree and relevant experience of 2 years in a similar role/domain
  • Have experience in running Pre/Post Quality Assurance process on network infrastructure.
  • Be experienced in network technologies and internet protocols along with good project management experience
  • Have Proficiency in OSI layer 2 and a good understanding of OSI layer 3,4 & 7 (HTTP/HTTPS/DNS).
  • Show expertise and hands-on technical experience in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting switches and servers.
  • Possess basic knowledge of bash/perl/python scripting in a Linux/Unix environment and SQL.
