About the role

  • Lead project controls team which consists of the cost control team & track and requisition team.\n
  • Direct creation and implementation of cost strategy within the TAR environment.\n
  • Supervise TAR worklists to ensure scope is handled per enterprise design.\n
  • Maintain cost control interfaces between procurement and TAR planning/execution teams.\n
  • Ensure accurate completion of TAR accruals, capitalizations, and write-offs each month.\n
  • Use cost control tools to quantify and explain cost overruns.\n
  • Support Event Managers with cost breakdown structure and event cost analysis.\n
  • Focus on expedited TAR closeout processes for final cost confirmation and release of liens.\n
  • Build and apply a cost repository for future project development and estimating.\n
  • Maintain digital tools to drive cost efficiency and predictability.

Requirements

  • Experience with operating facilities, turnarounds, and/or maintenance environments; Track experience a plus\n
  • 10+ years in project controls, finance, accounting, or turnaround management\n
  • Solid understanding of common financial and accounting principles and models, with a strong focus on SAP reporting and data management\n
  • Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills\n
  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn and improve\n
  • High ethical standards\n
  • Education and Licensing Requirements: Degree in engineering, finance, business, or related experience\n
  • Proficient in the use of computers including Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook), and business software (SAP)\n
  • PMP certificate a plus
