About the role
- Provide technical product guidance to customers, installers, and dealers via phone, email, and chat.
- Assist with product selection, troubleshooting, and installation questions using a strong technical aptitude.
- Maintain a high standard of customer experience with clear communication, professionalism, and call‑control skills.
- Support inside sales functions including quoting, order entry, cross‑selling, and product recommendations.
- Make outbound calls as needed to follow up on quotes, dealer inquiries, or promotional campaigns.
- Assist Outside Sales Managers with territory needs, dealer follow‑ups, and pre‑call planning.
- Analyze customer service and sales metrics to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards (Excel, CRM, or BI tools) to support territory performance tracking, customer segmentation, and forecasting.
- Work closely with leadership to develop data-driven insights that support strategic planning.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to communicate customer feedback and identify emerging needs or product issues.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, data analytics, or a hybrid role
- Strong technical aptitude, ideally with automotive aftermarket, performance parts, mechanical, or suspension knowledge
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, filtering, formatting)
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, SUGAR or similar)
- Competent in, Outlook, ERP systems, and multi‑screen navigation
- Excellent communication skills, including comfort with high‑volume phone work.
