About the role
- Own how aion attracts, engages, and activates developers, founders, and AI builders at scale.
- Design and run aion’s community and events engine: in-person and virtual events.
- Build repeatable growth engines through events, content, referrals, and community programs.
- Identify, activate, and nurture power users, early champions, and community leaders.
- Track engagement, activation, and community-driven pipeline.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years in Growth, Community, Events, or Marketing, ideally at an early-stage startup
- Strong event operations instincts: you are extremely detail-oriented (invite lists, Wi-Fi, flow, swag)
- AI-literate: comfortable discussing training vs. inference with developers
- Social-native (AI Twitter / viral Linkedin intuition)
- Scrappy, autonomous, and calm under pressure
- London or Bay Area-based or willing to travel regularly for events
