About the role
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Actively contribute to business development strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Lead efforts in acquiring new clients.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key clients.
- Meet and exceed sales targets through effective lead generation, prospecting, and leading negotiations from start to finish.
- Work closely with internal teams, including product development, legal & compliance, finance and delivery, to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics and competitor activities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven track record of success in business development within the fintech sector is a must.
- In particular you need to bring experience from selling BaaS or lending solutions.
- Strong understanding of lending, financial markets & products and industry regulation.
- Local knowledge of the Italian, French, Spanish or DACH market is a clear added value.
- Ability to work autonomously and maintain high productivity in an international context.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English.
