About the role

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Actively contribute to business development strategies to achieve company objectives.
  • Lead efforts in acquiring new clients.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key clients.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through effective lead generation, prospecting, and leading negotiations from start to finish.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including product development, legal & compliance, finance and delivery, to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics and competitor activities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven track record of success in business development within the fintech sector is a must.
  • In particular you need to bring experience from selling BaaS or lending solutions.
  • Strong understanding of lending, financial markets & products and industry regulation.
  • Local knowledge of the Italian, French, Spanish or DACH market is a clear added value.
  • Ability to work autonomously and maintain high productivity in an international context.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English.
