About the role
- Set the HR technology strategy and lead the design, implementation, and execution of the HR technology roadmap, aligned with Agilent’s broader talent and business goals
- Collaborate with HR and IT teams to ensure the successful integration and optimization of HR systems
- Oversee the adoption and optimization of HR technologies, with a strong emphasis on Workday HCM, Hana HR, and AI/automation
- Drive the rollout of AI across HR to enhance efficiency and user experience
- Champion a culture of employee-centricity and high-performance, ensuring HRSS supports meaningful and efficient moments that matter
- Leverage voice-of-employee (VoE) feedback, analytics, and benchmarking to continuously enhance the employee experience
- Partner with the Global HR Support & Europe HRSS leader to implement a global HR support ticketing tool (ex: Service Now)
- Manage and build strategic vendor relationships, ensuring that service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met; Act as a key contributor to global RFPs, platform assessments, and decision-making on build vs. buy strategies
- Partner with Global Sourcing to negotiate and renew contracts
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with HR and IT teams to co-create solutions and drive the adoption of HR technologies. Partner with Legal to ensure compliance with data privacy; Serve as a strategic advisor and escalation point on complex technology issues; Partner with CoEs, HRBPs, and other HRSS teams to align services, co-create solutions, and drive adoption of HR technology; Communicate and manage expectations effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders
- Operational Management: Ensure standardized, compliant, and efficient processes across HR technology operations; Lead a diverse, geographically dispersed team, managing day-to-day operations and long-term capability building
- Governance, Risk, and Compliance: Establish and maintain strong governance practices, including documentation, knowledge management, and process controls; Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS/CIS, HR Management, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in HR or IT roles, with a focus on technology
- 7+ years of leadership experience managing diverse, geographically dispersed teams
- Expertise in HR technology, service delivery, and transformation initiatives
- Strong track record in change management, service design, and performance improvement
- Preferred experience in a global matrixed organization within the life sciences, tech, or professional services sectors
- Knowledge of Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS/CIS, HR Management, or related field
