Travel extensively (90-100%) to support customers across the 9 Bay Area counties, Sacramento County, Stanislaus County, and Nevada
Provide on-site technical support for Agilent pathology solutions and tissue diagnostic IVD devices
Perform installation, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and software-driven systems
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network performance issues to minimize customer disruptions
Provide preventive maintenance and train customers to maximize system performance
Maintain clear communication with customers, internal teams, and management
Complete administrative tasks (documentation, expense reporting) in SAP or other systems
Offer technical feedback to product specialists and manufacturing teams regarding performance anomalies
Minimize downtime, optimize efficiency, and enhance customer success
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry)
1+ years of experience in field service or as an end-user of diagnostic equipment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience with Agilent pathology solutions is a plus but not required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel extensively (90-100% travel), including multi-state visits and overnight stays
