Provide clients with help and support at all project stages: feasibility studies, technology assessments, technical due diligence, Lenders’ Engineer services, FEED, owner’s engineer services, EPCM services, O&M support and optimisation, and expert witness services
Provide technical leadership across design, analysis, and problem-solving for engineering projects
Deliver and review high-quality design outputs, reports, and documentation
Support construction through site inspections, testing, and risk mitigation
Contribute to business development and represent the company professionally
Mentor junior engineers and continuously develop technical expertise
Requirements
Minimum 2:1 degree in mechanical or chemical engineering
Chartered Engineer status
Relevant industry experience
Recognised Project Management training (advantageous)
Previous experience of providing consulting services in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment (advantageous)
Commercial awareness and contract knowledge (e.g., IChemE or FIDIC) (advantageous)
Design experience from concept development and detailed engineering (advantageous)
Practical experience from construction, commissioning, and testing (advantageous)
Thermal power plant experience (biomass, waste to energy, gas fired, etc.) (advantageous)
Experience with energy transition technologies (carbon capture, green hydrogen, green ammonia, power to X) (advantageous)
Knowledge of software for thermal modelling of water/steam cycles (e.g., SteamPro) (advantageous)
Must confirm right to work in the UK (no Skilled Worker visa sponsorship)
