About the role
- Lead project teams to accomplish task assignments related to highway projects
- Management and plan preparation of urban, rural, freeway and interchange highway projects
- Management and plan preparation of widening, interchange or bridge replacement projects
- Planning development
- Right of way coordination and management
- Urban and rural roadway and/or bridge design
- Full client engagement and responsibility for all aspects of project pursuit and development
- Lead and manage all phases of a project
- Develop project scopes and budgets
- Development of project schedules
- Understand key client deliverables and project needs
- Assist as needed on other projects and work with other Arcadis offices as needed
- Interpersonal and client facing responsibilities including clear oral and written communication, coordinating meetings, resources, and presentations
- Adhere to Arcadis practices including quality and safety standards
Requirements
- 10+ years of design and or PM experience delivering on design-bid-build or alternative delivery highway projects for Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development and/or local municipalities
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Professional Engineering license (PE) in the state of Louisiana
- Experience working in and leading large multi-disciplinary teams
- Design experience on bridge or roadway design projects
- (Preferred) Experience working on alternative delivery highway projects for Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development and/or local municipalities
- (Preferred) Texas, Mississippi and/or Alabama PE licenses or ability to obtain
- (Preferred) Active participation in regional and/or national professional associations
