Lead a team of 8 to 10 Division Order Analysts and Owner Relations in a high pace environment
Ensure ownership decks for multi-rig program are set up and maintained
Process ownership transfers and manage owner inquiries and discrepancies effectively and timely
Assist working and royalty owner inquiries by interacting with the Revenue and JIB accounting groups
Attend and hold weekly meetings to address potential issues and ensure timely execution of deliverables
Provide monthly reports updating the Vice President of monthly activity
Mentor and train Division Order Analysts to grow their expertise
Communicate and interact with internal counterparts in Land, Accounting and Operations
Analyze leases, contracts and title opinions to calculate interests in operated and non-operated wells
Monitor drilling schedule and daily drilling reports to set up new properties in a timely manner
Research files and analyze wills and deeds to resolve complicated estate, transfer, and ownership discrepancies
Respond to owner inquiries and advise of requirements for proper payment of their interest
Update decks and issue transfer orders
Prepare reversal/rebooking decks to ensure revenue and JIB prior period adjustments are completed accurately
Track suspense accounts for escheat reporting and escrow
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
Must have 10+ years of experience in onshore oil and gas land administration with focus in Division Orders
Knowledge of state and federal regulations, and standard land and legal practices as it relates to accurate payment of revenues
Proficiency in MS Office is required
Enertia software experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Ability to work and communicate effectively with finance, accounting, and operational teams
Ideal candidate will possess an attention to detail, and strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills
Ability to foster teamwork in a dynamic fast paced environment
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Successful candidate will be able to meet company standard background check specific to individual role prior to employment and will be subject to Company Drug & Alcohol Program
Position is an indoor office position which will require remaining in a stationary position, often sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time
