About the role

  • Documentation Development: Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user guides, release notes, API Guides, infographics, and training videos.
  • Content Clarity: Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and easily understandable documentation.
  • UX Writing: Review and suggest improvements to user interface (UI) strings.
  • Documentation Strategy: Contribute to the development of documentation strategies and best practices.
  • Documentation Updates: Keep documentation up-to-date with product changes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with SMEs from different teams.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and edit documentation for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to documentation standards in Aera.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of dedicated technical writing experience
  • degree in Technical Communication, English, or Computer Science with an interest in data science, data analytics, AI/ML
  • Strong command of the English language with excellent grammar skills
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools for content ideation, research, and quality enhancement
  • exceptional writing and editing skills, with an emphasis on clarity, conciseness
  • Understanding of technical concepts (Software Products, Development, Testing, Regression Testing, Sprint/Iteration)
  • Proficiency in documentation tools and software such as Atlassian Confluence, Gitbook, Document360, Markdown, Madcap Flare, Adobe Robohelp, Adobe FrameMaker, Oxygen, Arbortext, SnagIT, Active Presenter
