About the role

  • Administer and manage Microsoft Fabric tenants, capacities, and workspaces, including the full ecosystem of OneLake, Lakehouses, Warehouses, Notebooks, Pipelines, and Dataflows.
  • Configure and maintain security settings, data access, and governance policies such as sensitivity labels, data-loss prevention, and workspace standards.
  • Implement and enhance role-based access controls (RBAC), ensuring alignment with least-privilege access models and organizational security practices.
  • Oversee and optimize Fabric capacity utilization (F-SKU, P-SKU, etc.), monitoring system performance, memory usage, and error logs to ensure platform reliability.
  • Manage and support data pipelines, Lakehouses, and Warehouses to meet enterprise data engineering and analytics needs.
  • Monitor data refresh processes, performance metrics, and platform health to proactively identify and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • University Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience with a strong technical foundation in: Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Synapse, and related data platform technologies.
  • Data governance tooling such as Microsoft Purview for cataloging, lineage, and compliance.
  • Microsoft Entra ID, including security groups, identity governance, and integration with Microsoft 365 compliance tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in: Upgrading and integrating enterprise systems, applications, and cloud technologies.
  • Strong hands-on experience with development languages and data technologies such as DAX, T-SQL, or Python in an enterprise data platform context.
  • Solid understanding of application and data security best practices.
