Support and lead Environmental Remediation projects in Hawaii and Guam
Based in Honolulu to manage multiple large-scale remediation projects
Manage a team of up to 10 persons including subcontractors
Responsible for overall project management administration and establish project-specific objectives and policies
Provide management and guidance to subordinate managers and act as primary liaison between AECOM and client
Oversee project construction in accordance with design, budget, and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors
Administer project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout
Hold significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned projects
May perform field work and oversight of subcontractors as required
Travel at least 10% as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related discipline and 8 plus years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
US Citizen, for access to DoD project sites
Ability to travel at least 10% of the time
Must successfully pass preemployment background check and motor vehicle records check
Master’s Degree in environmental engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related discipline (preferred)
Ability to successfully obtain a DBIDs pass to gain access to any required federal military installation site locations (preferred)
Experienced with CERCLA and environmental science principles, including site assessment and characterization, remediation, risk assessment, environmental chemistry (preferred)
Candidate must possess current 40-Hour HAZWOPER and Supervisor certifications and be able to meet medical clearance requirements of an OSHA (HAZWOPER) medical surveillance physical examination
Effective oral and written communication skills
Professional registration (preferred)
Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) and preparing technical reports
Knowledgeable and experience working on State of Hawaii, Department of Health TGM, SCP, and local environmental regulation
Extensive DOD and CLEAN Experience in Hawaii and Guam
Demonstrated experience with Client and Regulatory interactions
Field work might be required, including oversight of subcontractors
Demonstrated experience managing environmental remediation projects of $10 million dollars or greater, including Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, and Remedial Actions for the Federal sector
Ability to manage a team of up to 10 persons including subcontractors
