About the role
- Manage scope, schedule, and budget for multiple environmental remediation projects simultaneously
- Interface with clients and regulators and handle correspondence
- Lead teams across project phases including site assessments, field investigations, feasibility studies, removal actions, remedial designs, and optimization of post-remedy LTO/LTM
- Support portfolio managers with financial management
- Review technical reports and coach junior staff on technical writing
- Develop and maintain client relationships, lead capture/proposal management, and prepare technical approaches and cost estimates
- Health and safety stewardship, including local field visits
- Travel to project sites to assist clients with project planning and implementation
- Execute projects primarily for federal, commercial, and industrial sectors (including DoD-related work) under CERCLA and RCRA
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering or closely related field
- 12 years of related experience
- 4 years of project management experience
- Experience executing projects under CERCLA and RCRA requirements
- Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) projects or agencies (preferred)
- PE, PG, or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
- Ability to manage scope, schedule, and budget for multiple remediation projects
- Experience leading teams through site assessments, field investigations, feasibility studies, removal actions, and remedial designs
- Client and regulatory interface experience
- Technical report review and ability to coach junior staff
- Willingness to travel to project sites
