About the role
- Conduct primary and secondary market research by leveraging the company’s extensive internal resources and, when necessary, planning, scoping, and coordinating third-party vendor engagements.
- Build top-down and bottom-up models across biosimilars, generics and new molecular entities across multiple therapy areas, for key markets in Europe and Canada (and occasionally Australia).
- Develop detailed market landscape reports and executive-ready PowerPoint presentations with competitor analyses and forecast assumptions.
- Evaluate projects through the lens of Advanz’s commercial capabilities and identify adjacent growth opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management during portfolio assessment and deal-making stages, present to senior executives externally.
- Mentor and provide oversight to junior team members, ensuring quality and adherence to market research standards.
- Act as a strategic partner to Corporate Development and other business functions to support the company’s growth strategy.
- Drive the spirit of “One Team” through collaborative, respectful, and open communication across the organisation.
Requirements
- Graduate in Pharmacy, Medical, or Science-related field, or equivalent experience in valuation of pharmaceutical products.
- Postgraduate qualification or MBA (Economics, Marketing) is desirable.
- European experience in pharmaceutical forecasting, consulting or commercial strategy.
- Expertise in primary and secondary market research and building top-down and bottom-up forecasts.
- Strong experience delivering executive-ready presentations and actionable insights.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint (incl. ThinkCell), and pharma databases (e.g., IQVIA).
- Broad therapy area knowledge with the ability to swiftly engage with new products and indications.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; able to influence senior stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Collaborative team player who contributes to a positive, inclusive work culture.
- Strong commercial mindset with a bias for action and learning agility.
