About the role
- Remote HEDIS Auditor Trainee reporting to HEDIS QA Manager during training phase
- Learn and apply HEDIS concepts based on HEDIS Technical Specifications and client guidance using Advantmed training material
- Complete recorded measure trainings, recorded demo records, supplemental trainings, assessments, and test records in the training portal
- Abstract in the tool as demonstrated in training and ensure understanding through demo records
- Serve as prerequisite for auditor role and provide knowledge transfer to abstractors during their training phase and live season
- Meet training performance requirements (97.5% base score and completion within timeline)
- Maintain professional attitude and adhere to scheduled training planner
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years/seasons of experience in HEDIS Abstraction / Review
- Medical Coder Certification: CPC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA through AAPC or AHIMA OR Licensed Nurse: LPN, LVN, RN with an active license
- Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to commit to 20-40 hours per week during training and throughout the entire HEDIS season
- Applicant should be available to work from 6 AM to 6 PM CST
- Must acquire a base score of 97.5% overall in training
- Complete all training in the defined timeline
- Must attempt all training as scheduled in the HEDIS training planner or communicate schedule changes to HEDIS Manager
- Must have a professional attitude and willingness to learn
