About the role
- Ensure daily HR operations run smoothly between the company and our Support Centers
- Develop and support an HR strategy with the Canadian leadership team and the Director of Human Resources
- Oversee the Employee Relations function
- Liaise with Benefits and business leaders to facilitate job reviews and validate job descriptions (including pay equity)
- Conduct succession planning exercises, talent assessments (9-box), and other workforce planning activities with leaders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; MBA preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English
- Over 5 years’ experience as an HR generalist; at least 2 years’ experience conducting employee relations investigations
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, make decisions, and handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and experience of HR best practices and frameworks
- Knowledge of national employment and labor laws and regulations
- Strong employee relations skills and a deep understanding of the Canadian context
- CHRP/CHRL or equivalent HR designation is an asset
