QA Engineer

• Build long-term partnerships with aerospace OEM and Tier 1 customers by addressing audits, surveys, complaints, and product performance metrics.
• Evaluate and develop supplier capabilities to ensure compliance with aerospace regulations and customer-specific requirements.
• Maintain and enhance the AIS QMS in alignment with AS9100 and ISO9001.
• Plan, lead, and support internal, supplier, and customer audits.
• Participate in FAA, EASA, or NADCAP compliance efforts.
• Lead First Article Inspections (FAIR/AS9102) and structured Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA/8D).
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce defects, improve yield, and ensure production readiness.
• Collect, analyze, and act on quality data (SPC, capability studies, DOE) to prevent recurrence of defects and improve product reliability.
• Work with Product Development, Manufacturing Engineering, and global operations to integrate quality into new product introduction (NPI) and sustainment programs.
