About the role

  • Provides administrative, operational, and logistical support for a manufacturing and warehouse facility
  • Supports daily production office functions, inventory-related tasks, visitor management, and coordination between shop-floor teams and leadership
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees, vendors, drivers, and visitors entering the manufacturing or warehouse facility
  • Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, material receipts, and shipment paperwork in alignment with warehouse guidelines
  • Assist with maintaining inventory of essential supplies, working directly with suppliers and storeroom personnel
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming materials, mail, and small packages
  • Prepare and maintain operational documents, such as work instructions, safety documents, daily shift reports, and compliance records
  • Assist in coordinating training sessions for new hires, contractors, and temporary shop-floor staff
  • Support facility meetings by booking rooms, preparing materials, arranging catering, and assisting with presentation preparation
  • Participate in safety-related administrative tasks such as maintaining SDS binders, distributing PPE, filing incident reports, and supporting safety committee activities
  • Monitor and maintain a clean, orderly, and professional reception and operations office area
  • Complete purchase requisitions, vendor orders, and expense submissions relevant to facility operations

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, manufacturing support, or warehouse operations role preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong ability to follow structured processes and maintain documentation accuracy in a production environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with warehouse personnel, production teams, drivers, contractors, and leadership
  • Must be flexible with daily priorities in a dynamic manufacturing/warehouse setting
  • Ability to complete tasks independently with a high degree of attention to detail
