About the role
- Manage complex lifting activities across onshore projects
- Ensure safe and efficient lifting operations
- Prepare detailed lifting plans
- Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to ensure compliance
- Support competency assessments for relevant staff
- Implement and review Safe System of Work (SSoW)
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in lifting operations
- 2 years in planning lifting activities
- IOSH Leading Safely or NEBOSH certification
- CPCS Blue Card – Appointed Person (Lifting Operations)
- Level 5 NVQ (or equivalent) in Lifting Operations
- Strong knowledge of local legislation and regulatory requirements for all lifting duties
- Understanding of BS7121 standards for the safe use of cranes
- Knowledge of maintenance, inspection, testing, and thorough examination requirements for lifting equipment and accessories
