About the role
- Structure, draft, review, negotiate, and lead a wide variety of agreements, including strategic partnerships, custom outbound partnerships, technology licenses, and strategic vendor agreements.
- Help drive and structure various Digital Media product-related agreements and programs.
- Cultivate knowledge in our Digital Media and Digital Experience solutions (including AI) to offer support through outbound partnerships (and inbound partnerships where needed).
- Evaluate and successfully implement continuous improvements for standard terms, templates, and legal processes.
- Keep abreast of the rapidly changing industry and legal landscape.
- Build positive relationships and advise multiple levels of management on legal issues.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in good standing of at least one state bar.
- 10+ years of relevant legal experience, particularly with complex commercial and technology agreements, and some in-house experience preferred.
- Proven drafting skills and experience leading complex deal negotiations.
- Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to frame complex legal issues succinctly and communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Dedication to providing clients with high-quality and timely legal and business advice.
- Proven creative problem-solving capabilities, good business instincts and the ability to apply common sense to provide both practical and theoretical advice.
- Excellent cross-functional skills and ability to work well with internal colleagues (including those in different time zones).
