About the role

  • Manage, sell to, and service Scheels by presenting adidas products (both Apparel and Licensed) and driving profitable, sustainable growth
  • Build and own seasonal assortments informed by sell-out data, insights, and brand direction
  • Identify growth opportunities and proactively recommend new programs or assortment adjustments
  • Lead and execute all sell-in meetings, including preparation and sample coordination
  • Monitor sell-in and sell-through trends and drive in-season actions to maximize profitability
  • Deliver accurate, insight-driven forecasts that support strong demand planning
  • Track profitability, credit claims, and compliance issues, resolving challenges quickly and proactively
  • Build trusted, influential relationships with buyers and key internal partners

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of three years relevant experience; athletic industry preferred
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and initiative
  • Strong business acumen and ability to use financial data to influence outcomes
  • Confidence and professionalism in challenging business interactions
  • Skilled negotiator able to drive win–win outcomes
  • Clear, agile communicator with strong presentation and storytelling abilities
  • Advanced organization, planning, and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to anticipate and address issues proactively
  • Ability to build trust-based relationships with a deep understanding of business metrics
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel up to 25% and lift samples up to 25 lbs
  • Passion for sport, retail, and fashion
