About the role
- Manage, sell to, and service Scheels by presenting adidas products (both Apparel and Licensed) and driving profitable, sustainable growth
- Build and own seasonal assortments informed by sell-out data, insights, and brand direction
- Identify growth opportunities and proactively recommend new programs or assortment adjustments
- Lead and execute all sell-in meetings, including preparation and sample coordination
- Monitor sell-in and sell-through trends and drive in-season actions to maximize profitability
- Deliver accurate, insight-driven forecasts that support strong demand planning
- Track profitability, credit claims, and compliance issues, resolving challenges quickly and proactively
- Build trusted, influential relationships with buyers and key internal partners
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of three years relevant experience; athletic industry preferred
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and initiative
- Strong business acumen and ability to use financial data to influence outcomes
- Confidence and professionalism in challenging business interactions
- Skilled negotiator able to drive win–win outcomes
- Clear, agile communicator with strong presentation and storytelling abilities
- Advanced organization, planning, and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to anticipate and address issues proactively
- Ability to build trust-based relationships with a deep understanding of business metrics
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel up to 25% and lift samples up to 25 lbs
- Passion for sport, retail, and fashion
