About the role

  • Shape the product direction and execution for Alternative investment data and workflow solutions. Responsibilities include:
  • Define and evolve the vision for how Alternative investment data is modeled, processed, and surfaced across Addepar’s platform.
  • Develop AI-first data and workflow products to improve Alternatives ingestion, data quality, and operator efficiency across complex document pipelines.
  • Design and ship critical client workflows — from onboarding new funds to managing capital calls, valuations, and distributions.
  • Own product strategy for data models across Alternative asset classes, ensuring standardization, extensibility, and integration with Addepar’s broader data schema.
  • Partner with Engineering to deliver scalable data infrastructure and APIs, balancing speed of delivery with long-term maintainability.
  • Collaborate with Design and Operations to translate complex manual workflows into elegant, automated user experiences.
  • Establish product rituals and frameworks (roadmapping, prioritization, discovery, feedback loops) to bring rigor and repeatability to how the ADM team builds products.
  • Measure and communicate outcomes, using product analytics and client feedback to iterate and drive adoption.

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally in Fintech, SaaS, or Data Platform environments.
  • A systems thinker who can distill complexity into clear product strategy and design modular, scalable solutions.
  • Strong understanding of financial data models and workflows in Alternative investments, capital markets, or asset management.
  • Hands-on experience with data pipelines, integrations, and operational tooling (ETL, APIs, structured/unstructured data, etc.).
  • Experience with applying AI/automation to human-in-loop systems, improving accuracy, and scaling operational excellence.
  • A disciplined product operator—familiar with agile/lean delivery, PRD writing, and driving execution through cross-functional teams.
  • Data-driven and outcome-oriented; you naturally define KPIs, validate assumptions, and prioritize based on impact.
  • Exceptional communicator who builds alignment across Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams.
  • Thrives in ambiguous, fast-growing environments and brings structure, process, and clarity where needed.
