Serve as a core member of one or more product development squads with accountability for clinical direction and outcomes.
Collaborate with the Clinical/CD leaders and SMEs to establish an aligned, evidence-based Clinical Point-of-View, that drives prioritization and decision-making within the squad.
Advise cross-functional teams on behavioral frameworks, evidence-based strategies, and digital intervention models that drive clinically meaningful outcomes.
Partner closely with EPD to embed behavioral science principles into user experiences that improve engagement, adherence, and outcomes.
Review, synthesize, and apply behavioral science literature and frameworks to inform new product development and continuous program optimization.
Exercise judgment to evaluate trade-offs across clinical, business, and user factors; propose creative, effective solutions to complex challenges.
Lead alignment among stakeholders. Bring clinical thought leadership and strategic guidance to the squads.
Representative to the broader Clinical organization for their assigned R&D squad to represent shared product decisions.
Ensure all product work is grounded in evidence, meets Omada’s standards for clinical quality and safety, and reflects current standards of care.
Recommend changes to clinical product processes and establish procedures that enable cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes efficiently.
Use data and metrics to monitor outcomes, evaluate success, and adjust plans as needed.
Requirements
PhD in Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, Behavioral Science, or a closely related field, with a specialization in health behavior intervention design and chronic disease management.
5+ years of postdoctoral experience, including experience in a digital health or healthcare technology setting.
Recognized expertise in behavioral theory, evidence-based intervention design, and practical application in digital or hybrid health environments.
Demonstrated success collaborating with Product and Design teams to translate behavioral science into engaging user experiences.
Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating behavior change strategies in real-world settings; ability to balance scientific integrity with product constraints.
Experience collaborating with EPD teams to deliver user-centered healthcare technology solutions.
Ability to set clear objectives, monitor progress, and adapt plans to achieve outcomes.
Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment with flexibility with ambiguity.
Stellar written and oral communication skills.
Proven track record with data-driven decision-making and fluency in using metrics to assess outcomes and other success metrics.
