About the role
- Responding to inquiries and coordinating HR services.
- Provides timely, accurate support across calls, emails, and texts.
- Ensures accurate processing of employee information.
- Coordinate employee onboarding, including data entry, documentation validation (I-9/E-Verify), and orientation scheduling.
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and timekeeping systems to support compliance and timely payroll.
- Process employee changes and transactions in accordance with HR, payroll, and legislative requirements.
- Provide HR Service Centre support by responding to employee and manager inquiries and resolving or escalating system issues.
- Audit employee records and HRIS transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance, providing guidance as needed.
- Support managers with HRIS workflows, approvals, and system navigation.
- Track and report Service Centre activity and metrics, and maintain HRIS reference documentation.
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience processing employee changes in a full-service HRIS
- understanding of payroll processes and employment legislation strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Human Resource Information Systems, preferably UKG Pro
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with intermediate Excel skills
- Working knowledge of hiring processes and employment documentation requirements
