About the role
- Identify and prospect net-new business opportunities within the Middle Tennessee market
- Conduct pre-qualification of suspects to identify ideal Target Client Profile prospects
- Generate and schedule first-time appointments through outbound efforts (calls, email, networking, referrals)
- Build and maintain relationships with executive decision-makers (CEO, CFO, business leaders)
- Drive early-stage discovery conversations and uncover business and technology challenges
- Collaborate with leadership and sales team members to advance and close opportunities
- Develop and maintain a strong local referral network with aligned professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect and pipeline data within CRM systems
- Consistently meet or exceed activity metrics, pipeline targets, and revenue goals
Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in services or technology solutions
- Proven success in a **hunter, net-new business role**
- Experience in a full-cycle or early-cycle consultative sales environment
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding quota and revenue targets
- Ability to generate and maintain a consistent pipeline through outbound efforts
- Experience booking and running discovery calls / first-time appointments (FTAs)
- Comfortable selling to executive stakeholders (C-level, business leaders)
- Experience with longer, solution-based sales cycles (typically 2–6+ months)
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot, ConnectWise, Salesforce, etc.)
- Highly coachable, accountable, and comfortable operating within a structured sales process
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Nashville area, with ability to travel locally
