About the role
- Serve as the first local HR team member, HR lead and talent partner to the Cork technology innovation center
- Lead and oversee end-to-end talent acquisition lifecycle including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and workforce development
- Partner with leadership to develop workforce plans and talent pipelines aligned with business objectives
- Actively engage in the local community and partner with universities, institutions and community organizations to build talent pipelines
- Establish and promote Acuity brand awareness and build relationships to assist in talent pipeline development
- In partnership with global HR COEs, oversee local HR operational functions including systems, reporting, compliance, and process optimization
- Co-develop and create new processes and toolkits to support the associate experience
- Drive employee engagement, career development and workforce development initiatives
- Monitor HR metrics and analytics to inform strategic decisions and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure local policies and procedures are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements
- Culture champion: embed company values into HR strategies and organizational culture
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on recruiting, talent management and HR operations
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders across a highly matrixed & global team
- Strong knowledge of HR systems (SAP) and data analytics
- Industry experience in high-tech and/or software development
- Experience with start-up environments and/or acquisitions and integrations
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, change management and organizational skills
