About the role
- Act as a strategic liaison between Sourcing, Operations, and traffic managers to align transportation strategies with broader business goals.\n
- Lead and manage cross-functional sourcing projects with clear timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement.\n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external logistics providers, including 4PLs, to ensure alignment and accountability.\n
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using root cause counter measure mindset to influence teaming, enhancing service levels, reducing costs, and optimizing transportation performance.\n
- Establish and monitor data, metrics, and KPIs to evaluate provider performance and ensure compliance with contractual terms and strategy.\n
- Foster a culture of collaboration and operational excellence across all levels of the enterprise.\n
- Develop a clear calendar, cadence, and content for communication, alignment, and coordination between functional counterparts across all levels of the enterprise.\n
- Lead and manage cross-functional sourcing projects with clear timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement.\n
- Build capability to develop and influence category strategies and tactics to execute, including market tests, competitive bidding, cost models, and negotiations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, Engineering or a related business field.\n
- Multi-faceted minimum 5 years’ business experience with Customers, Operations, Sourcing, Sales, Supply Chain, Transportation, Engineering.\n
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, facilitate meetings with 5-why philosophy and manage complex projects through collaboration, influence, negotiations, relationship management, planning, and execution.\n
- Experience with project plan management tools (i.e., Gantt charts, RACI, timelines).\n
- Skilled in facilitating meetings internally and externally collaboration, influence, negotiations, relationship management, planning, execution.\n
- Strong analytical and communication skills with a focus on results and execution.\n
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change in a matrixed environment.\n
- Strong knowledge of business and long-term strategic goals, with customer service orientation.
