About the role

  • Manage Residential Linear product categories including Wraps, Undercabinet, & Tapelight
  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of assigned Residential projects to meet scope, timeline, and budget
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Develop detailed project plans including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
  • Manage project expectations and provide timely escalation for product deviations to mitigate quality and supply chain risks
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders with status updates, milestones, and plan changes
  • Coordinate with product support, sourcing, manufacturing, engineering, customer service, and sales for product support and launches
  • Present and provide product training for support teams, channel partners, and customers
  • Lead and influence the team to follow product development system with phase gates, milestones, and deliverables
  • Apply basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and drive KPI compliance including productivity, margins, quality, ship promise compliance, and sales growth

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field
  • MBA a plus
  • 4+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the lighting industry
  • Strong communicator and team player
  • Strong understanding of product development life cycle
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software
  • Knowledge of lighting industry sales channels, key influencers, and primary decision makers (preferred)
  • Direct knowledge of tapelight products, applications, and key competitors (preferred)
  • Willingness to travel 1-20%
