About the role
- Be the subject matter expert in the Backend process engineering.
- Define, develop and implement a manufacturing strategy for Electronics Backend processes such as Wave Solder, Selective Solder, Conformal Coating, Auto Insertion PTH Machines, Routers and depanelizer processes.
- Responsible to lead the manufacturing best practices to achieve customer and product goals.
- Implement a continuous improvement plan for Wave Solder process.
- Lead the development and implementation of transformation strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives by identifying opportunities for manufacturing.
- Provide expert guidance to leadership and stakeholders, and identify and create the gap analysis.
- Drive organizational changes aligned with the organization metrics and goals.
- Develop metrics and KPIs to monitor the success and impact of the manufacturing program across existing product portfolio and new product introduction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
- 3 - 5 years of experience in similar position
- Extensive knowledge of Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering philosophies and processes
- Deep understanding for all SMT related best practices and equipments.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work with plant Directors, VPs and SVPs.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver effective coaching and train others, set the example for best practices.
- Passion for people and talent development programs.
- Excellent Administrator to create Business Case and ROIC analysis.
