About the role
- Lead moves management and relationship development for renewals and increased giving from existing portfolio
- Prospecting for year-over-year growth via identification, outreach and solicitation of new funders aligned with ACE’s mission
- Write all grant collateral for deliverables in portfolio, including proposals and reports
- Manage donor data in Salesforce CRM, including grant opportunities, institution contacts, and account details
- Collaborate with Chief Development Officer and Senior Director to strategize funding opportunities and pursue moves management
- Work closely with CFO, CDO and Senior Director to review and process grant agreements—manage deliverables tracking and financial reconciliation
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 50 institutional funders for renewals and growth
- Secure meetings and drive moves management for prospective funders to grow institutional portfolio
Requirements
- 5-7 years experience in non-profit fundraising with demonstrated success in securing, managing and growing institutional investments—proven track record of securing increased and new six-figure institutional grants
Excellent writer with the ability to craft persuasive, fresh, and compelling proposals and reports with the ability to synthesize data and information into one compelling voice and story
Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work with multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks as needed
Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship development skills
Skilled at working across multiple teams and with staff of varying levels of seniority, including executives, to produce timely and high-quality deliverables
Strong project management and problem-solving skills, with flexibility to adapt to changing environments
Enjoys working independently and as part of a team
Comfortable in a very fast paced environment and ability to handle competing priorities
Understanding of 501c3 and 501c4 fundraising best practices and familiarity with IRS rules and regulations
Familiarity and fluency in technological skills OR ability to learn: Salesforce, JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Google Suite, and others
Desired: Education: BA/BS preferred, but not required
Excitement to bring new ideas to the table and engage others in fundraising
Troubleshoots challenges with patience and creativity
Ability to adapt as necessary to fulfill additional roles, responsibilities, and opportunities in development programming as necessary—a can-do attitude: no task is too big or too small
