About the role

  • Director of Performance Marketing role to implement, manage, and improve ACE’s paid advertising strategies across platforms to advance climate advocacy Design, launch, and manage digital and traditional advertising campaigns across platforms Develop budgets and paid media plans; monitor performance to ensure delivery of key metrics Manage audiences, targeting, creative assets, and tracking systems to optimize performance Write and refine ad copy; collaborate with vendors and staff to produce creatives Build and optimize action pages to drive list growth, conversions, and lower cost-per-lead Leverage retargeting and segmentation to increase retention and campaign effectiveness Implement new tracking and reporting methods to enhance performance insights Partner with program and campaign teams to align advertising with organizational priorities Provide training and support to staff on digital tools and campaign strategies Identify new opportunities in both digital and traditional ad spaces to advance ACE’s mission

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, advertising, or media buying Track record building, managing, and evaluating paid advertising campaigns within paid social, paid search, and traditional advertising avenues Strong expertise in paid social and paid search; familiarity with DSPs (e.g., The Trade Desk, StackAdapt, DSPolitical) Demonstrated ability to analyze performance data, optimize campaigns, and communicate results clearly Experience with event tracking (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting for digital campaigns Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to work independently and meet deadlines Self-starter with strong organizational skills and creativity Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets for reporting and analysis
