Complete in-store food and non-food demonstrations; serve, demonstrate, intercept consumers and sell products in a professional manner.
Acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented; effectively communicate product features and benefits.
Responsible for Event execution equipment and management/maintenance of equipment and supplies; ensure clean and secured storage in backroom.
When Supervisor is absent, act as point person, communicate with store management, assist other Event Specialists, and provide leadership and knowledge to the team.
Prepare and serve food samples complying with food safety guidelines; use small appliances and cooking utensils safely.
Maintain a clean, sterile and safe workstation; use cleaning chemicals appropriately.
Properly set up and prepare Event Table for execution; take digital photos of Perfect Table Setup to document success stories.
Complete assigned work, expense reports, and online requirements same day; assist with preparation for client visits and audit corrections.
Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient ability to use and navigate on a personal computer and personal mobile device using applications and internal systems.
Food Safety Professional Certification; Local Food handlers permit if required.
Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers; reach (including overhead); talk and hear; visual ability to read instructions; stoop; kneel; crouch; climb (including use of a 6’ ladder); balance.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds (including occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds); push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden.
Ability to prepare and serve food samples including raw meats, poultry, produce and eggs complying with food safety guidelines.
Ability to prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
Ability to maintain a clean, sterile and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
English is the primary language skill; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
Will be point of contact when Supervisor is absent (supervisory responsibility).
Ability to complete expense reports and submit all on-line requirements on the same day as event execution; take digital photos of Perfect Table Setup.
