Complete in-store food and non-food demonstrations; prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies.
Acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented and effectively communicate features and benefits to consumers.
Intercept consumers and demonstrate products professionally while maintaining a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Properly set up and prepare Event Table for execution and achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
Prepare and serve food samples using required appliances; maintain a clean, sterile and safe work station.
Build and maintain rapport with store personnel, assist with client visit preparation, and complete audit corrections.
Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution and complete expense reports per company policy.
Role typically not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week; company may change based on business needs.
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in ability to use and navigate on a personal computer or personal mobile device using applications and internal systems (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe PDF).
Local Food handlers permit may be required.
Ability to prepare and serve food samples using small appliances (microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers) and use knives.
Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station using cleaning chemicals.
Physical ability to stand and walk during shifts; reach overhead up to 65 inches; stoop, kneel, squat, climb/step up ladder, balance.
Lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasional lifting up to 50 pounds); push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden.
Ability to intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a professional manner; effectively communicate product features and benefits.
Ability to access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, complete same-day online event requirements, and submit expense reports.
English is primary language; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
